Who We Are

The Guest Relations Association consists of companies and corporations across all industries who host customers and visitors through some type of unique experience in the form of a tour of their museum, factory or visitor center. Additionally some programs also operate gift shops to sell products of their company or provide gifts representing some significance of the company or about the visit they experienced.

Tours are generally categorized as one of two types: Public or Private. Public tours are those open to general audiences with the express objective of reinforcing the brand image of the company. Private and VIP tours are conducted to host current or potential new customers and objectively designed to impact specific or all elements of the sales cycle with particular emphasis on generating revenue. Some tour programs are also hybrid operations whereby they conduct both public and private tours. In all cases tours are designed into a structure called a program. The program consists of characteristics and procedures for conducting tours common to all the members.
